UT Network Speedtest

For guidance on which speedtest to run and how to interpret the details, please refer our Wiki Document

Internal Test Point

Use this to test to measure your speed from your building to UT Services on campus or to measure your speed from an off-site ISP to UT Services.

External Test Point

Use this test if you are on campus, and want to see what your "best case" speed to the outside internet is.

You will probably only want to use this if you are on campus. Testing away from campus or on celluar will only test your ISP or celluar connection, not the speed on the UT Network.

Manual Test Downloads

If you would prefer to measure download speed yourself, you may select a file size below.

Check your remaining bandwidth before performing large downloads.

Wireless & Resnet users:
Testing and downloading from this server will count against your bandwidth allocation.
